Aluspray is a type of wound healing agent suitable for all types of animals. It helps external wounds to heal, reducing the risk of infection and improving the protection of damaged tissue against external agents such as dirt or insects.
This product works by spraying and does not require a waiting time, so it is not necessary to immobilise the animal so that it does not lick the sprayed area. We recommend that you consult your vet before using this product and that he/she recommends the use of this product.

Description Vétoquinol Aluspray for Wound Healing

Dermatological astringent-styptic topical spray without antibiotic based on micronized aluminum.micronized aluminum is an adjuvant in the healing process of external wounds.

It has astringent properties, i.e. it favors the precipitation of proteins, which explains its beneficial action on healing. Because of this astringent effect, it is also attributed some antimicrobial activity.

ALUSPRAY projects the aluminum onto the wound in the form of a thin film, which completely covers the wound. The adhesion of the layer obtained provides good tissue protection against dirt and insects.

Aluminum as a metal does not cross the cell membrane and does not exert any systemic pharmacological action or toxic effect.

When aluminum is accidentally ingested due to the animal licking the wound treated with ALUSPRAY, its passage into the blood circulation is very limited so it cannot accumulate in the tissues. In addition, the toxicity of aluminum administered orally is considered to be nil.

Dosage:

- In all species: spray on wounds, at a rate of 1-2 times a day, covering them completely with a thin layer.
- Always use after cleaning, disinfection, sanitation and surgical repair of the wound.
